Two EECS Alumni Now University Leaders
January 2022. On January 27, 2022, Jungwoo Ryoo (Ph.D., Computer Science, 2005), was appointed the Chancellor of the Penn State University, DuBois, effective April 2022. Dr. Jungwoo is currently the Division Head, Engineering, and Information Sciences and Technology and a professor of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State Altoona. Full Article
| July 2021. On July 1, 2021, David Janzen (Ph.D., Computer Science, 2006) started his appointment as the President of Tabor College. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Janzen was a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. Full Article |
