Several board members are graduates of KU-EECS, while others serve because of a strong interest in the continued success of the EECS Department and our students. The Board convenes twice each year to review our programs and initiatives, and to make recommendations that help the Department maintain the quality and relevance of our education and research activities.
The mission of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department Advisory Board is to provide support, advice and service to the department chair and faculty, to department programs. It is the Board’s desire to work with the department to improve the academic and research programs that contribute to the stature of the School of Engineering and University.
