EECS alumnus receives NSF Graduate Research Fellowship
We are pleased to share news of an outstanding achievement by EECS alumnus Abir Haque, who has been awarded a highly competitive National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship.
Abir earned his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Kansas in May 2025, where he was an undergraduate researcher in EECS. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computational Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech.
The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes and supports exceptional graduate students in STEM fields who have demonstrated strong potential for significant research contributions. This national recognition highlights both Abir’s accomplishments as a student and the strength of undergraduate research experiences in EECS.
