Oguna Wins National Scholarship


Angela Oguna was one of five national winners of a Chrysler Foundation Scholarship from the Society of Women Engineers. Recipients were chosen for their scholarship, leadership and service to the communAngela Ogunaity. Oguna serves as the academic excellence chair for Region V of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).

In addition to being named the EECS Sophomore of the Year last year, Oguna received a KU Undergraduate Research Award and was selected as a 2008-2009 University of Kansas Scholar.
