Oguna Wins National Scholarship
Angela Oguna was one of five national winners of a Chrysler Foundation Scholarship from the Society of Women Engineers. Recipients were chosen for their scholarship, leadership and service to the community. Oguna serves as the academic excellence chair for Region V of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).
In addition to being named the EECS Sophomore of the Year last year, Oguna received a KU Undergraduate Research Award and was selected as a 2008-2009 University of Kansas Scholar.
