Graduate Student Receives Best Paper Award

Gino Rea has won the Graduate Student Paper award from the International Telemetering Conference (ITC). Rea will receive $1,000 and a plaque at the opening ceremony of ITC 2009 on Oct. 27 in Las Vegas. EECS Assistant Professor Erik Perrins mentored Rea on "A System-Level Description of a SOQPSK-TG Demodulator for FEC Applications."
