EECS Students Win KU Math Competition

Two KU EECS students claimed honors in the KU Math Prize Competition, held this spring by the KU Math Department. Colin Marett, a junior in mathematics and computer science, won the first-place award. EECS student Siddharth Dodia was the third-place winner.

The competition is open to all KU undergraduate students. It has two levels: a junior level and a senior level. The junior-level competition is open to all undergraduates of non-senior standing and assumes a knowledge of first-year calculus.  Marett and Dodia competed at the junior level.
