ACM to Host Movie Night, Hacknight

The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) student chapter will host two events this week.

 6 p.m.,Thursday, March 13, Spahr Classroom

ACM and the Department will show Top Secret Rosies: The Female 'Computers' of WWII. The documentary highlights the women mathematicians responsible for the writing of ballistic trajectory tables, cracking of Axis codes, and the programming of the world's first electrical computers. Pizza and soda will be provided.

7 p.m., Friday, March 14, Spahr Classroom

ACM will host its second marathon Hacknight, in which programmers of all ages and experience are invited to Spahr Classroom for an evening of social coding (which is not a contradictory phrase). Bring down your rig and your projects and feast on free pizza throughout the night.

Have something cool to show? Pull it up on the projectors and demonstrate your mastery of the craft. Looking for partners? Build a group from the attendees or make one beforehand and come in to make something awesome.
