The Department offers three Bachelor of Science degrees: Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E.), Computer Engineering (B.S.Co.E.), and Computer Science (B.S.C.S.).

Computer engineers focus on all aspects of computational devices and systems, including both software and hardware. Electrical engineers work with electrical and electronic devices and systems while computer scientists specialize in the theory and practice of computing.

The mission of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is to educate the next generation of electrical engineers, computer engineers, and computer scientists, to advance the state of knowledge through research, to strive to promote economic development for the state, and to engage in service to the public and the profession.
