EECS Advising Days Scheduled for October 15 and 16

Published on October 4th, 2012 by Michelle Ward

EECS advising days will be held on October 15th and 16th.  All students must meet with their academic advisor to plan their schedule for the coming semester.

Students need to sign up for an appointment on the sheet posted on their advisor’s office door. The Academic Planning Form must be signed by the advisor and student and then returned to the EECS Office (2001 Eaton). After the form is processed, the Engineering Advising Hold will be released.

Due to scheduling conflicts, EECS Assistant Professors Sarah Seguin and Bo Luo and EECS Associate Professor Shannon Blunt will have advising days on October 11th and 12th.  EECS Associate Professor James Rowland will meet with students for advising on October 17th and 18th.

If students absolutely cannot meet during their advisor’s available times, they will need to e-mail them to schedule an appointment.

Students who need to discuss transfer credits, long-term degree planning, or other objectives should sign up for two consecutive time slots.

Students who do not know their assigned advisor should stop by the EECS Office.

PLEASE NOTE: Enrollment for honors students and student athletes begins on October 18th. These students will need to have completed their advising and turned in the academic planning form before the 17th to ensure they can enroll on time.
