New Scholarship Available to EECS Students

Through the generosity of Robert and Barbara Kleist the EECS department will be awarding several $5000 scholarships for the 2012-13 academic year.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Junior or senior level
  • High GPA--priority given to those with GPAs above 3.5
  • Participation in extracurricular activities

How to apply:

To apply for a scholarship, submit a resume to Dr. Kinnersley(kinners@eecs.ku.edu) by April 27. Awards will be made in mid to late May after spring grades are available. Notification of a scholarship award will be sent via email. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified. If you currently hold a renewable $3000 scholarship from the department you may apply for this award, and if successful the Kleist award will replace the award you currently hold.
