Google VP Will Discuss Cloud Computing During Campus Visit

Google's Vice President of Engineering Brian McClendon (EE ’86) will discuss software and hardware of cloud computing including Mapreduce and GFS. Google Earth is possible because of the scalable nature of its server infrastructure. The talk will be at noon on Monday, November 16, in the Apollo Room in Nichols Hall.
